Great Danes B 0 - 3 Perry street Hawks

This is a Great start to the season for the boys narrowly beat the week before this week they bounced back with 3 second half goals.

The first half was a hard fault battle with all 7 players working hard to win the ball, Josh simkins put in a superb performance at the back through out the whole game to win him Man of the match WELL DONE JOSH, Charlie moore made some super runs and crosses into their box, Luke Arundell was not challenged in goal in the first half.

Second half we were playing up hill, Sam moore came on fo r Nathan smith, Ben hazelwood went in goal for Luke Arundell,the boys started the second half strong by catching great Danes on the break on a few occasions this seemed to lift their spirits. Charlie Moore picked up the ball just inside there half he then ran down the left side to just inside their box to fire the past there keeper  GOAL 1, 5 mins later Luke Arundell again picked up the ball just inside their half brushed off there player to run at goal and placed the ball pasted their keeper GOAL 2, Sam Clarke replaced Ben Hazelwood in goal he then pulled off a string of saves to keep us in the game, 3mins from time Chalie moore Luke Arundell & Oliver overton attacked the great Danes defence with some superb passing with Oliver Overton picking up the final pass to shoot pass the Great Danes Keeper right hand side GOAL 3.

This was a great performance by all the boys which we can build on for future games.

I would also like to thank all the parents for making the effort to turn up and support the boys. Well done everyone.
